This day starts with an early breakfast before our driver picks you up from the hotel around 07:30 am for a drive to Delhi domestic airport for your flight to Jaisalmer. On arrival in Jaisalmer, another company driver will receive you and drive to the pre-booked hotel. After some refreshment and lunch, start exploring Jaisalmer and visit some marvelous sandstone havelis like Patwon Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli, and Nathmal Ki Haveli. Patwon Ki Haveli is one of the best-carved and largest havelis in Jaisalmer. The haveli is a five-story building, although some parts of the haveli have lost their old charm, still, some paintings and mirror work can be seen on the walls. Salim Singh Ki Haveli was built in the 18th century, and the high arched roof of the haveli is supported by carved brackets designed like a peacock. Some parts of the haveli are still occupied by generations of the original family. Nathmal Ki Haveli was built in the 19th century. It is said that the haveli was built by two brothers who started constructing it from two sides. This is one of the best havelis in Jaisalmer. End your day with some great pictures at Bada Bagh (cenotaphs of the royal family of Jaisalmer) during sunset and drive back to the hotel. Night stay in Jaisalmer.

This 12th-century fort is home to around 3,000 inhabitants, making it a unique and special place to visit. Jaisalmer Fort is also known as Sonar Fort (The Golden Fort) because it’s made of yellow sandstone. This World Heritage Site is an exceptional example of craftsmanship with a rich history and heritage.
Inside the fort, you'll find the Jain Temples, which date back to the 12th and 15th centuries. These temples are dedicated to Jain hermits known as Tirthankars. Like other structures in the city, the temples are also made of yellow sandstone.
Another must-visit site is Gadisar Lake, which offers a stunning view of the fort from one side. Surrounded by small temples and shrines, it is not only a tourist attraction but also a pilgrimage site. Other notable attractions include Amar Sagar Lake, the ruined village Kuldhara, and the War Memorial.
In the late afternoon, drive to visit the famous dunes of the Thar Desert at Khuri or Sam Village. There are a few options to experience the desert safari, and the most popular way is by camel, known as the "ship of the desert." Alternatively, you can hire a 4x4 jeep for a thrilling ride to the dunes and nearby small villages. A key highlight is the cultural dinner, which includes traditional Rajasthani food, local folk dance, and music. For a truly memorable experience, it is recommended to spend the night in a tented accommodation under the stars. No trip to Jaisalmer is complete without experiencing the desert safari!
After breakfast, start your drive to Jodhpur. On the way, a quick visit to Pokhran Fort is a great option. This fort is an excellent example of Mughal and Rajputana architecture, and it also houses a fascinating museum and library.

Later, begin your exploration of Jodhpur with a visit to the majestic Mehrangarh Fort. Built in the 15th century by Rao Jodha, this fort is one of the largest in Rajasthan and a true symbol of the state's pride. Overlooking the Blue City (as Jodhpur is also known), the fort is surrounded by a 9.5 km long wall reinforced with 101 bastions. Rudyard Kipling, the famous writer, described it as "one of the grandest sights in India, the work of angels, fairies, and giants."
Next, visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum. While the entire palace isn't open to the public, this museum showcases a rich collection of artefacts from the royal family, antique clocks, and a vintage car collection. The Umaid Bhawan Palace is also famous for being the largest private residence in the world.
Don’t miss the Mandore Garden, which features beautiful temples and cenotaphs, and the Mahamandir Temple, which is supported by 84 pillars, each showcasing different postures of Yoga.
In the evening, head to the Clock Tower Bazaar. Explore the old streets of the Blue City, where the houses are painted in varying shades of blue. Wander through narrow streets, visiting the bustling markets offering local sweets, spices, textiles, handicrafts, silver items, and fresh vegetables.
After your exploration, drive back to the hotel and enjoy your night stay in Jodhpur.
After breakfast, start your drive to Udaipur. Depart from Jodhpur around 9:30 am, and make a stop at the Ranakpur Jain Temples, which open for tourists around 12 pm. On the way, you can also visit Kumbhalgarh Fort (optional). Kumbhalgarh Fort is famous for never having been conquered by any intruder. It features a massive perimeter wall stretching about 36 km, the second-longest wall in the world after the Great Wall of China.
The Ranakpur Jain Temples are known for their unique architecture and intricate carvings. There are 1444 pillars, each individually carved, ensuring no two pillars look the same. The temples are made of white marble, and the beautifully carved idol of Parshvanatha made from a single marble slab is a highlight, with 1008 snakeheads and countless tails.

You can take a leisurely walk through the city, enjoy a second boat ride on the lake, or simply relax by the water.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on your journey to Jaipur. On the way, make a stop at Pushkar, a town famous for its religious significance. Here, you can visit the Brahma Temple, the only ancient temple dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator of humanity according to Hindu beliefs. This temple is a sacred site and holds immense cultural value. Pushkar is also known as the "King of Sacred Places" for Hindus, making it an important destination to explore. Before heading to Agra, stop by Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1571. The site has several historic and architectural gems, including:

Over 20,000 artisans took 22 years to complete the monument, with an estimated cost of around 32 million rupees at that time, which translates to approximately $915 million today. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. This masterpiece is renowned for its breathtaking architecture and remains a symbol of eternal love.
Afterward, visit the Red Fort (Lal Qila) in Agra, a historic fort that once served as the residence for Mughal emperors. Built in the mid-16th century, Red Fort is made primarily of red sandstone, though Shah Jahan added parts in white marble. At one point, the fort housed around 300 structures, though only 20 remain due to destruction from various attacks and British colonial rule. The fort is still partially in use by the Indian Army. Take an early breakfast and check out from the hotel around 08:30 am, as you'll be taking the Gatimaan Express train from Agra to Jhansi. The train departs at 09:50 am and is the fastest train in India, offering comfortable seating in Chair Car. You’ll arrive in Jhansi by 12:35 pm. This train journey is a unique experience and a great way to shorten the driving time. Upon arrival in Jhansi, a company representative and driver will be there to greet you and drive you to Khajuraho, which is about a 4-5 hour drive away.
You can make a quick stop at Orchha on the way to Khajuraho. Orchha, founded in 1501 by King Rudra Pratap Singh, is a small town with significant historical and architectural importance. Some of the key attractions include:
Jahangir Mahal, an Indo-Islamic style palace built by King Veer Singh Deo to welcome Mughal Emperor Jahangir on his first visit to Orchha.
Raja Ram Temple, a unique temple where Lord Rama is worshipped as an ideal king rather than as a god.
Chhatris (memorials) by the Betwa River, dedicated to the rulers of Orchha.

The Khajuraho Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are India’s unique gift to the world, showcasing the brilliance of the Chandela Dynasty in architecture and sculpture. Once you’re refreshed, head out for a visit to the famous Ghats of Varanasi. You can walk along the Ghats and observe the different religious rituals and activities happening by the river. For a more immersive experience, we recommend taking a boat tour. This will offer you the best vantage point to witness the Ghats in their full glory and capture stunning, picture-perfect moments.
There are about 90 Ghats in Varanasi, but two are especially well-known:
Manikarnika Ghat: This is the place where Hindus perform the last rites of the deceased, making it a highly sacred spot.
Dashashwamedh Ghat: Known for the grand evening Aarti, it’s a spectacular spiritual event performed by several priests. The Aarti ceremony lasts for 45-60 minutes and involves the sound of Sanskrit mantras, drums, bells, and cymbals. The highlight is the beautiful sight of diyas (oil lamps) floating in the river at the end of the ceremony.
After the boat tour and the Aarti ceremony, you can either walk or drive back to your hotel, depending on its location. Spend the night relaxing in Varanasi.
Varanasi is considered one of the holiest cities in India and holds immense spiritual significance for Hindus. It is believed to be the cosmic center of the universe and is referenced in the great epics, Mahabharata and Ramayana. According to Hindu culture, a bath in the holy Ganges River is said to cleanse the sins of thousands of past rebirths. The city, older than history itself, was already a thriving city when Rome was founded. As the renowned American writer Mark Twain once stated, "Banaras is older than history, older than tradition, older even than legend, and looks twice as old as all of them put together."
Start your Varanasi tour by visiting Banaras Hindu University (BHU), one of the largest residential universities in Asia, spanning across 2000 acres. It is the center for education in Sanskrit, culture, music, and Indian art.
